PARTNER SUCCESS PLACEMENT

A few years ago we were working on a partner search in Singapore with one of our best technology-focused, law firm clients. We contacted attorneys with a tech background in San Francisco & New York. The candidate that appeared to be the best fit had a significant client list of his own, but it was spread across two different practices: PE and tech. The main roadblock to him making partner at his old firm was that he needed sign off from both practice group leaders.

In order to position him best for a partnership role we knew that we needed to find a firm that would:

– Promote an attorney to partner coming in

– Be more flexible with these practice areas

– Have a good support system for his current clients

Cut to the present day: we landed him an equity partner role at one of the most profitable law firms in the world. He has surpassed his business expectations with flying colors. 

The moral of this story is that all it took was the right platform for this rockstar to become a key component to a major firm. We’re so proud to have helped position him for this great success and it’s a pleasure to watch him soar.
